Rebuild of the Holley 600 cfm carburetor

//Rebuild of the Holley 600 cfm carburetor
Today I decided to rebuild the carburetor which was a Holley 600 cfm. The car has not been running right and was dumping alot of fuel into the engine.
So the car was running very rich with smoke coming out of the exhaust. It was putting so much fuel that it was getting into the engine oil which is not good. The engine oil was changed out also.
I also read that Holley carburetors need to be rebuilt if they sit for just 2 years.
Remember to use thick gloves and a well ventilated room when using carb cleaner. It is some nasty stuff and is not worth exposing yourself to it.
