I now have most of the large body putty fills completed except one last dent in the rear panel underneath the bumper.
I decided to try pulling the it out as much as possible first. Below shows the large dent.

I decided to try using my stud welder from my work. They make these specifically for body work to weld metal threaded studs on the surface for pulling. However, I had one that is specifically for welding permanent studs for manufacturing items which works great for this also.
So I started by grinding the paint off.
After I welded the studs, I just used a puller and put a nut and washer on the stud to hold it in place. I hammered it back to pull the dent. I welded a half dozen other studs later on to pull the dent better.
Then I grinded off the studs for preparation of body putty.
