I initially was sanding the wheel well body fill patches by molding the sandpaper over my finger but it was still creating waves. So I thought of using a long glue stick or tubing to mold into the area with sandpaper. It works a lot better and can see true example below.
This allowed me to finally get it right and then I proceeded to prime it off.
