Now it’s time to start putting the interior back together. A lot of the parts had surface rust so I wire wheel brushed the backseat frame, the headliner rods, door jam pieces, ashtray, trunk gas tank cover, rear end bumper, and the front seats.
The front seats slide rail was gunked up and hard to move. I removed the springs and tried my best to clean every angle of the groove, and packed grease in it while moving it back and forth repeatedly.
All these parts were then paint brushed on with black rust oleum paint.
