For today’s task, I cleaned up the window molding chrome pieces with lacquer thinner and fine steel wool. That shined it up and helped to remove the grim quickly.
Then I simply pushed it over the window edges. Some pieces were a little bent so I tried my best to straighten them with my hand.
I then properly attached the rear gas cap followed by attaching the gas cap door. I used leftover windshield butyl tape in between the gas cap before tighten it with the 4 screws but you could probably use any sealant to keep water out.
The trunk lock was also installed which is fairly easy to do .
